Hermann-Gotisch is a blackletter typeface, its strokes thick and angular, echoing the medieval Gothic script. The letters possess a strong verticality, with sharp serifs and dramatic contrasts between thick and thin strokes. It exudes a sense of formality and historical weight, hinting at ancient manuscripts and royal decrees. The overall impression is one of elegant darkness.
